The first stop is Cejar Lagoon, a turquoise salt lagoon with such a high salt concentration that it allows visitors to float naturally, similar to the Dead Sea experience. Surrounded by the vast salt flat and the volcanoes of the Andes Mountains, it offers a perfect setting to relax and enjoy nature.
We will then continue to the Ojos del Salar (Salt Flat Eyes), two natural freshwater pools formed in the middle of the salt flat. Their deep blue color creates a beautiful contrast with the surrounding desert landscape.
Finally, we will visit Tebinquinche Lagoon, one of the most spectacular places in the Atacama Salt Flat. Its wide water surfaces reflect the sky, mountains, and nearby volcanoes, creating endless-looking landscapes. 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM | Hotel Pickup
Departure from San Pedro de Atacama toward the Atacama Salt Flat, crossing the landscapes of the driest desert on Earth.
3:00 PM – 4:30 PM | Cejar Lagoon
Arrival at the stunning Cejar Lagoon. Time to enjoy the area and, in designated zones, experience natural floating thanks to the high salt concentration of its waters.
4:45 PM – 5:00 PM | Ojos del Salar
Visit to the famous Ojos del Salar, two natural freshwater pools located in the middle of the salt flat. Time for photos and to enjoy the scenery.
5:00 PM – 5:30 PM | Tebinquinche Lagoon & Cocktail
We will continue to the beautiful Tebinquinche Lagoon, where we will enjoy a gentle walk while taking in panoramic views of the salt flat, the Andean volcanoes, and local wildlife.
A light cocktail will be served while we enjoy one of the most spectacular sunsets in the Atacama Desert. The reflections on the lagoon and the changing colors of the landscape create an unforgettable experience.
Approximately 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM | Return to San Pedro de Atacama
Return to town and end of the activity.
